We started Wimberley Pools after years of watching local pool owners struggle with services that didn't understand Hill Country water. Generic pool companies trained on Houston or Phoenix conditions would show up in Wimberley and wonder why their standard chemistry approach kept failing.
The answer is limestone. Wimberley's water — both municipal and from private wells — is some of the hardest in Texas. Calcium hardness levels routinely hit 15–20 grains per gallon. Cedar pollen in January crashes pH overnight. Summer algae pressure at 100°F is relentless. These aren't problems you learn about from a training manual — they're things you learn from years of taking care of pools in this specific place.
