Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you want to know about pool service in Wimberley and the Texas Hill Country — answered honestly.

Service & Quotes

Every pool is unique — size, water source, equipment, tree coverage, and current condition all affect your quote. We don't publish a one-size-fits-all rate card because we believe you deserve a quote built for your specific pool. Request your free quote and we'll respond within 2 hours with a firm, no-surprise number.
Never. We operate month-to-month only. You can pause or cancel anytime with 30 days notice. We believe in earning your business every single week — not locking you in.
Yes. All standard chemicals — chlorine, acid, alkalinity increaser, algaecide, and preventative treatments — are included. You won't get an invoice for chemical add-ons after the fact. If a specialty treatment is needed due to unusual conditions (heavy storm, algae bloom, etc.), we'll discuss it with you first.
We service pools Monday through Friday. When you sign up, we'll assign you a consistent day based on your neighborhood route. Your tech will arrive on the same day each week so you can plan accordingly.
Yes. We offer one-time deep cleans, green-to-clean recoveries, pre-sale inspections, spring openings, and post-party cleanups with no ongoing commitment. Contact us for a custom quote on any one-time service.

Hill Country Water & Chemistry

Wimberley's water is extremely hard — municipal water and well water in the area regularly measure 15–20+ grains per gallon of calcium hardness. This is 2–4x the national average. High calcium causes rapid pH drift, scale buildup on tile and equipment, and cloudy water. It also requires different chemical dosing than pools in softer-water markets. We've developed specific protocols for Hill Country hard water management that most outside companies simply don't have.
Cedar pollen is one of the most significant pool chemistry disruptions in the Hill Country. When pollen lands in your pool, it lowers pH (sometimes dramatically, within 24–48 hours), creates organic matter that consumes chlorine, clogs filters, and can cause algae blooms if left untreated. During cedar season (typically December–February in Wimberley), we increase testing frequency and add phosphate removers and preventative algaecide to our standard service to stay ahead of the problem.
Absolutely — and we have significant experience with it. Well water in Hays County often contains elevated iron, manganese, sulfur, and very high calcium and magnesium. These require specific treatment protocols including sequestrants and sequencing agents to prevent staining and maintain clear water. We'll test your fill water and build a treatment plan accordingly at your first visit.
Texas summer heat accelerates algae growth dramatically. Consistent weekly service with proper chlorine levels and supplemental algaecide is the key. We also monitor phosphate levels — algae's primary food source — and treat elevated levels before they cause a bloom. Pool owners who skip service during summer heat waves (thinking "it's fine for a week") are the ones who call us for emergency green-to-clean service in July.

Our Service Approach

After every service visit, we send you a report containing: (1) photos of your pool before and after the visit, (2) a complete chemical readout showing all test values and what was added, and (3) service notes covering what was done plus any equipment observations or recommendations. It's our core transparency promise — you always know exactly what happened, whether you were home or on vacation.
Yes — that's a core part of our service model. Your assigned technician gets to know your pool, your equipment, your preferences, and your property. They'll notice when something's different — a small leak, unusual equipment noise, or an early algae spot — because they know what "normal" looks like for your specific pool. This consistency is something national franchise models structurally can't offer.
Yes. We diagnose and repair all major pool equipment — pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, salt cells, lights, and plumbing. Repairs are quoted before any work begins. Our ongoing maintenance clients get priority scheduling on repair calls. We stock common parts for the most-used equipment brands in the Hill Country area.
Yes. Saltwater pools have unique chemistry requirements — salt levels, cell efficiency, and the interaction between salt and hard water are all areas where we have specific expertise. We service and maintain salt chlorine generators from all major brands including Hayward, Pentair, and Jandy.
Call or text us directly. We're local — you're talking to the same people who do the work. If something wasn't done right, we'll come back and fix it at no charge. Our satisfaction guarantee isn't buried in fine print — it's how we actually operate.
